- 1X2
- A three-way betting market where you pick either a home win (1), draw (X), or away win (2).
- Accumulator
- A single bet that links multiple selections; all must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread that gives one team a fractional goal advantage or disadvantage to balance the odds.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting activities.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine multiple outcomes from the same match into a single custom bet.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that shows your selected bets, stake, potential payout, and settlement status.
- Bookmaker
- A company or individual that sets odds and accepts bets on sporting events.
- Both Teams to Score
- A market where you bet on whether each side will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- A feature that lets you settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match, such as 2‑1.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (e.g., home win or draw) in a single wager.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match.
- Half-Time Bet
- A wager placed on the outcome (or specific markets) of only the first half of a match.
- Handicap
- A term used for Asian Handicap or a traditional point spread that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage.
- In-Play
- Another term for live betting, referring to odds available after the match has started.
- Juice
- Slang for the vig; the extra percentage added to the odds to ensure the bookmaker makes a profit.
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula used to determine the optimal size of a bet relative to your edge.
- Live Betting
- Placing bets on events while they are already in progress, with odds that update in real time.
- Odds
- The number that indicates how much you can win relative to your stake; higher odds mean bigger potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be over or under a set line.
- Parlay
- Another term for an accumulator, where winnings from each selection roll onto the next.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a particular bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability suggests, giving an edge over the long term.
- Vig
- Short for vigorish, the commission or cut a bookmaker takes on a bet, built into the odds.
